Kobe Bryant needs to step his adlib game up. At least he’s not rapping.
Kobe Bryant reacts to a clutch shot that basically sealed the win. This is the happiest he’s ever been.
Kobe Bryant goes back on the court and practice his shots after losing to Miami last night. Those extra jump shots in practice will definitely prevent him from taking 20 contested jumpers in the fourth quarter.
After getting humiliated by the Spurs, LeBron James tweets about being in an imaginary war.
20+ games left in phase 2. I’m ReFOCUSED! No prisoners, I have no friends when at WAR besides my Soldiers.
His refocus is realizing he should be Robin to Dwyane Wade’s Batman. Chris Bosh is Alfred the butler, of course.
The game is best summarized into this clip. Kobe Bryant, the old man in the all-star bunch, triumphs over LeBron James who’s taking this exhibition game way too seriously. LeBron is still bitter he didn’t win All-Star MVP last year.
The Lakers love to create drama and make it interesting for their fans. After handing the Cavs their worst loss in franchise history, they laid down and got whooped in Cleveland. Ron Artest hasn’t shown up for most of the year and it may be because his mind is on making a rap album and promoting his crew.Ron tweeted this shortly after the game:
CHECK OUT THE MIXTAPE PROMO THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT SORRY FOR THE LOST http://noyseworks.com/download/ron_artest_promo.mp4 FIRE FIYAHH!!!
There’s a popular stat going around about Kobe Bryant’s shot selection. It says Lakers are more likely to lose when he attempts more than 20 shots. Kobe attempted 24 last night, only making 8. Kobe’s known to not adhere to the triangle but it’s not fair to solely blame him when Lakers don’t play well. People praise Larmar Odom for his versatility but he rarely shows up when his team needs him. Last night he only had 6 points and 4 rebounds. Lakers played poorly and got outworked, out hustled by the worst team in the league. Silly Laker fans are panicking and screaming trade for Melo. Embarrasing lost by defending champs but they’ll be fine.
The All-Star weekend is coming up this week. And what better to usher it in than showcasing colorful shoes that will only be worn at the All-star game. Above are the Nike Zoom Kobe VI in fiery red. Kobe’s and Lebron’s (below) Nike LeBron 8 V/2 have reflective material on the tongue, the logo morphs from each player’s logo to conference logo. The rest are Kevin Durant’s reddified Nike Zoom KD3, Derrick Rose’s all-yellow adidas adiZero Rose, and Kevin Garnett’s silvered-up Anta KG1. Rose’s shoe would look great with a Laker jersey.
Kobe Bryant commenting on Pau Gasol’s play style and what he’d like to see.
“Even when he was in Memphis and he was the go-to guy, he was always very nice. Very white swan. I need him to be black swan. Be an (expletive) sometimes.”
Perfect. Kobe you’re the best.
