Marvel NBA gear revealed

Posted by slammo in Celtics, Knicks, Lakers, News

Basketball nerds and comic book nerds shake their heads in unison. These designs look like bootlegs you can find at your local Chinatown. Very lazy designs all around. We all knew it was a quick cash grab scheme but damn. It’s as if they spent less than 30 minutes in photoshop for each design. They seem to be targeting the young crowd rather than young adults with disposable income. Bad move. Marvel NBA gear is set to debut All-Star weekend.

Ronny Turiaf in disbelief

Posted by slammo in Funny, Knicks

As a Lakers fan, I miss this guy. Great role player, he hustles, rebounds, does the dirty things that help teams win. And his (over)reactions are always welcomed.

Poll: Kobe vs LeBron at the MSG – Who had the better game?

Posted by Admin in Cavs, Knicks, Kobe, Lakers, LeBron, Poll

[poll id=4]

Kobe set it off by dropping 61 points, 3 assists, 1 block and a perfect 20-20 at the free throw line.

LeBron’s line: 52 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists, 2 blocks

Who do you think had a better night?
Kobe – 61 points breaks the scoring record at MSG
Lebron – first player since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1975 to tally a triple-double while also scoring 50-plus points. (scratch that, no trip/dub – the League took the 10th rebounds away from LeBron and gave it to Ben Wallace)

Posted by Admin in Awful, Knicks

Isiah Thomas’ Knicks on Wednesday suffered a loss that ensured the team would match the worst record in franchise history, which just so happend to occur a few years ago under his watch (although he was only the GM at the time; Larry Brown was coaching the team). Here’s a stat worth mentioning…Mike Dunleavy Jr. matched his career-high of 36 points for the 3rd time against the Knicks this season.
