The Andy and Landry Show: Broadway style

Posted by slammo in Funny, Knicks

Like I’ve said before, Landry Fields got the goods to be a TV personality. Andy Rautins does the same thing he does during games, he’s just there.

Melo does what LeBron couldn’t do: hit the game winner

Posted by slammo in Amazing, Carmelo Anthony, Knicks

Carmelo Anthony saved his team from what would’ve been an embarrassing lost to the Gay-less Memphis Grizzlies. This is what great players do. They don’t blame their coach, they rise to the occasion.

Ron Artest sympathizes with Heat crying, Melo and Stat doesn’t

Ron Artest keeps frontin. Everyone knows you can’t hug your therapist!

Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire weren’t as compassionate. via ESPN

When the locker room first opened to reporters after the game, Stoudemire and Anthony were bantering and laughing about players on the Miami Heat crying after their loss earlier Sunday to the Chicago Bulls, with Stoudemire fingering Chris Bosh(notes) as the watery-eyed one (although Bosh, when asked by reporters in Miami whether he had cried, said he almost had but did not).

“I heard Chris Bosh was crying tears,” Stoudemire said.

“Tears?” Anthony asked.

“Yeah, tears,” Stoudemire replied.

“Wait ’til I call him, man,” Anthony said. “I’ll be like: ‘What are you doing?'”

Very appropriate response for two very competitive players. Heat deserve to get clowned for this soft shit. This is a regular season game. C’mon! Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and all the other greats are shaking their head in disgust at the Heat.

Amar’e Stoudemire has an entertainment state of mind

Posted by slammo in Amar'e Stoudemire, Knicks

Amar’e Stoudemire is probably playing the best basketball of his career right now. Melo and Chauncey Billups just joined him. And Chris Paul will most likely join him in the near future. His New York life only gets better from here. He shares some insight into his personal life with Gotham Magazine.

“I think New York girls are a lot of fun,” says the single 28-year-old. “There’s so much to do in New York, so if you have an entertainment state of mind, your dating life is going to be pretty interesting.”

Amar’e is dropping bombs on your moms in this interview. Startling revelations that your dating life would be great if you’re a professional athlete. I’d take a wild guess his entertainment state of mind is about swimming in chicks.

Landry Fields’ Travel Tips: Orlando Edition

Posted by slammo in Funny, Knicks

Landry Fields is only in his rookie year but he’s shown he has a future in broadcast doing color commentary. Upon his arrival to Orlando, he tweeted this gem

In humid, Orlando.. No need for chap stick or lotion here.

Great advice to keep in mind for folks traveling to humid cities. Although someone should tell him to not bring his Knicks snuggy next time.

Stat and Melo

Ahh yes the obligatory hip-hop song for your favorite team using Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” instrumental. This time it’s brought to you by Judge, up and coming rapper, who’s Amar’e’s artist. Making a song about your boss, that’s a new level of ass kissing. You know what it is!

Ewing-inspired Melo t-shirt

Posted by slammo in Carmelo Anthony, Knicks

There will be countless Melo Knicks shirts in the coming days. But you’ll gain basketball nerd props for a t-shirt inspired by Patrick Ewing’s 1986 adidas logo! It’s only fitting Melo is compared to Ewing. He will usher in a new era of Knicks dominance but fall short of championship glory.

This video was made before the Melo trade but it’s more fitting today. Starring Youtube sensation Keenan Cahill, Landry Fields, Andy Rautins and the Knicks City Dancers. Knicks fan may be celebrating. Everywhere else people are laughing because they overvalued and overpaid Melo.

Landry Fields tries to sell his own jersey

Posted by slammo in Funny, Knicks

Landry Fields works at Modell’s for the day to try to sell his jerseys. He’s a great rookie but not rookie of the year status. Hustle players that do the dirty work don’t get recognized. It’s only appropriate no one recognized Fields in the video.
