Last night, Melo tied George Gervin’s NBA record with most points made in a quarter at 33. It’s definitely a break out game for one of the NBA’s most prolific scorers. Melo has been subpar this year with an average of just under 21 points per game, his lowest output since the 04-05 season. This is Melo’s way of letting the League know who’s the boss.
